Championed by

Tobias Ellwood MP - Bournemouth East

Samantha started Domestic Angels, a domestic cleaning and home help service, from her home in Southbourne, Bournemouth in 2002. Setting up the business to get a better work life balance, Sam was able to also offer the same opportunities to women from all walks of life therefore improving conditions in their families and communities. Sam is passionate that her employees – ‘the Angels’– share this privilege.

The success of the business exceeded Samantha’s expectations. After winning a prestigious national business Award, she expanded the business and now offers it as a franchise opportunity and has a network of franchisees.

Samantha involves herself in the local and national business community in a variety of ways, for example as a Partner to Parliament Week in Bournemouth, through the All-Party Group for Women and Enterprise and currently as an Independent Member of the Governance & Audit Committee in local government. Sam also partners with a local charity helping those with mental health problems and learning disabilities become independent.
