Anna Rankin 

Anna started her working life in retail until she moved back to the family farm with her husband, Jamie, and their children, in 1998.

It became clear very quickly that Micklefield needed a major injection of cash in order to continue to thrive and, within 16 months Anna started the wedding business. In 2004 Anna’s husband left his job in retail and they have run Micklefield together ever since.

Although weddings are the main part of the business, they also do corporate days, film shoots, birthday parties, workshops, activity days, wakes, and a lot of charity events. Now in their 60’s, they both work hard, particularly during the busy Summer months, but are still totally passionate about what they do!
