Award-winning butcher Charlotte had worked part time for a butcher whilst taking a degree in theology.
After working with the Church of England for a year, she decided to follow her love of butchery. Charlotte then honed her craft at two of London’s top butchers O’Shea’s and Lidgate’s.
In 2013 at the age of 23 she got a Government backed loan and bought a shop. ‘Charlotte’s Butchery’ is now a thriving business employing 6 people.
One of only a few female butchers, Charlotte drives business to her shop through social media @girlbutcher . She has been featured in national newspapers and appears regularly on TV.
