Debra’s career in the fashion industry started in 1976, working within the wholesale fashion district in London’s West End. Initially employed as a showroom model, then progressed to understanding fabrics and design, quickly followed by merchandising & buying.
Debra opened a retail shop in Essex in the early 1980’s with the aim of catering for all ages, styles and sizes as a one-stop shop. In 1986 Debra moved to larger premises in Chigwell Essex. With Debra’s eye for buying & designing garments the shop very quickly gained a great reputation in the TV & Magazine industry, the brand Debra was underway.
With an enormous selection of daywear, evening and cocktail wear, and the more recent addition of prom dresses. Every garment has been hand selected, designed or manufactured by Debra. There is also an ‘in-house’ milliner for bespoke hats.
